Getting Started

Tiva Crowdfunding is a complete and powerful wordpress plugin for crowdfunding and fundraising. It is a complete solution to start a Kickstarter-like website and help other succeed with incredible projects.

Tiva Crowdfunding is the perfect plugin to kickstart your own fundraising website! It is highly creative, featuring a clean & minimalistic design and packed with a lot of useful features. You also can use it for all kinds of niches like charity, donation, non-profit organization ...

The campaign is created and managed on frontend by each user, and get donation via PayPal gateway. Campaign's author can setup individual PayPal address so he will get his own money with no extra fees.

Plugin Installation

Step 1: Download the plugin to your local machine as a zip file package.

Step 2: From the backend of your WordPress site, select Plugins » Installed Plugins, then click the Add New button » click Upload Plugin and select the plugin package (tiva-crowdfunding.zip) on your local machine. Then click the Install Now button to install module.

Step 3: After install plugin successful, click Activate Plugin to enable it.

Usage

After install the plugin, you can manage the crowdfunding system with objects:

• Campaign
• Category
• Currency
• Location

On the admin site, you can create, edit, delete the Category, Currency, Location.

The Campaign is created on the frontend by subscriber-user.

The admin can publish/unpublish, delete, view detail info of campaign on admin site. Only published campaign can be displayed on the frontend.

On the frontend, subscriber-user can manage (edit, delete) his campaigns on the [My Account] page:

Plugin Settings

• Explore Layout: Layout of campaign list page (Layout 1 or Layout 2).
• Paypal Mode: Mode of Paypal payment (Sandbox or Live).
• Author can change campaign goal?: Author can change campaign goal? (Yes or No).
• Author can change campaign duration?: Author can change campaign duration? (Yes or No).
• Pledge for ended campaign?: User can pledge for ended campaign? (Yes or No).

With Tiva Crowdfunding widget, you can display the Categories, Locations or Campaigns on the website:

Plugin Shortcode

The plugin provides some shortcodes:

• [tiva-crowdfunding-campaign-create]: display [Campaign Create] page.

• [tiva-crowdfunding-campaigns-list]: display [Campaigns List] page. Params of this shortcode:
  • layout: Layout of list (1 or 2).
  • category: Category filter for list. For example: category="2" -> List all campaigns which has category which id = 2.
  • location: Location filter for list. For example: location="2" -> List all campaigns which has location which id = 2.
  • author: Author filter for list. For example: author="2" -> List all campaigns which has author which id = 2.

• [tiva-crowdfunding-my-campaigns]: display [My Campaigns] page (the campaigns of each author).

• [tiva-crowdfunding-payment-settings]: display [Payment Settings] page (the page for author to enter his payment account like Paypal account).
